FAREWELL—My Friends

The next poem below is dedicated to all my friends in SINGAPORE:

FAREWELL


Moving on and meeting new people.

Seems like the most interesting thing.

New buddies, new friends,

A whole new world to explore.

At first, i was overwhelmed,

All there was excitement,

Laughter, amazement and gladness,

For the final day in

Singapore

is about to be uncovered.

But during the past few days, things changed.

Memories and good times of the past shone,

Clouded my minds as i thought of leaving

While all the emotions altogether brewed.

All of a sudden, tear-floods overflowed, unmanageable.

Rivers of crystalline tears mixed with sobs,

Reminiscing the past seemed to be hard.

To grasp the thought was unbearable.

"Why do I cry?” I asked.

I always wanted to leave, didn’t I?

"Can’t wait to get out of here" were my initial words

But why and why now are my questions.

Sadness creeps in and heart full of sorrow

As I sat with clouded eyes, still crying.

Nothing will be lost, I thought.

All’s well. I’ll look forward to tomorrow.

All of these are foolish things to say.

Foolish…fooling myself is what I’m doing.

All the friends that I’ve made

Cannot be replaced in any way.

Sure, new experiences will come.

But will these outshine the old ones?

Love and understanding have grown for many years.

Hard to comprehend why it’s all ending.

Life goes on, they say.

But now all I want is life to be as it is.

Joy fills my heart in this place.

Nothing more to ask for, I prayed.

Farewell…farewell…my final farewell.

In these last few days of woe and sorrow.

Tears mixed with laughter echoes in the halls

As the airport door closes behind me.

Dragging my feet,

Hanging there dying,

On the inside I am crying.

My life is leaving,

My heart is bleeding.

As if, it’s the end of the world

I looked up at the sky,

One last time.

And whispered,

Good-Bye.

Could someone rub my back for me,

And tell me everythig will be ok?

Could someone sit beside me and tell that,

Everything will be OK?

Friends….come and go in life….but some stay for a while leaving footprint along the way…I was born in Nepal and i grew up here in Singapore. It like a mother

"I JUST DON’T KNOW WHERE I BELONG MAN!!! But hey, u guys always made me feel home and saved the day. "I am really grateful for what i have now…but "I AM LEAVING NOW MY FRIENDS", This really breaks my heart, but i guess most of the good things in life in NEVER meant to LAST. It’s a winding road for me to take this step and walk onto the road of the UNKNOWN but well….life still goes on. U guys have been there for me all these while and taught me so many things in life. One day perhaps i will be a grandfather, rocking on my chair under the stars telling my grandsons of tales about my wonderful friends in SINGAPORE.

THANK-YOU" But remember this my friends…no matter what or where i will be in life, u guys will always be in my HEART. *SOBBING*

RAYMOND:I just want to let u know that i respect u a lot and i treasure your friendship more than anything in the world. U have been a true friend and have always been there for me. U will always be treasured in my heart no matter where i am and hey, "WE ARE BROTHERS FOR LIFE"…we will meet again and someday we can hang out and catch up on the loss that time has stolen from us..so till we meet again, my friend/my brother…i am so….gonna miss u. "I LOVE U MY BRO".

SERENE:Hhmmm…i wanna let u know that u are one in a billion. U are the most caring and understanding person i have ever come across…Who ever marries u will be the luckiest bustard alive…LOL. I really wanna thankyou for being there for me when i was down and listening to all my nonsense. U are like an angel. Take care when i am away and dont be so harsh on yourself and STOP DRINKING TOO MUCH. Sweety…life is a road full of doubts and risks….be strong and brave. Although i cannot be there for u, u’ll always be in my heart as a great true friend u really are, and always will be. Muah…

SEAN:Whats up my bro…the most adorable person ever existed…..man, u are more like a younger brother then a friend. Hanging out with was one of the coolest thing in life…clubbing..drinking…dancing…going on top of the dance podium *head bang*…getting drunk and all….hahahaha…we had some crazy days together man. But apart from all that i wanna let u know that…u have a very good heart…and i am so proud of u. U stay cool and NEVER!! NEVER!! NEVER!! drink and drive..GET IT!!!…lol. We WILL meet up someday and this is a promise from me to u. "I LOVE U MY BRO"

TIFFANY:Sweety…the most cutest and "HEY PEOPLE" she is the best dancer alive in the face of this earth. Sweety, u are like a sis to me. I love u and i will miss u dearly….u be a good girl and hey, dont forget me yeah. I will come kocking down at your door some day and i will go like "EXCUSE ME, IS THERE ANY VACANCIES" lol…u will become someone big in life someday…i know that and i believe in u…keep in touch and sweety i love ya. Muah…

ARRON:U are one of the sweetest person i have ever met in my life…i respect u and i look up with great respect. Friends like u are few and rare…I wish u all the best with TABULA and hopefully someday u will be a huge STAR my friend..and i hope to buy tickets for your concert and support u…and even if i cannot make it for your concert, and if i see u in TV, i will stand proudly infront of others and tell them…"HEY THATS MY BROTHER my FRIEND". I wish u all the best for your future and hope to meet up with u someday again, if we have the chance. "TILL WE MEET AGAIN"

Never say goodbye

I feel the time is getting close,

When we will have to part.

I’ll show that I’ll miss you,

With last words from my heart.

We must be dreaming,

For time has gone to fast.

The time we have spent together,

Will soon be our past.

I just want to forget that i am leaving,

And today i’m standing here,

Trying to tell you,

How much I really care.

We’ll go our seperate ways for now,

But I’ll BE BACK.

Just hold on to our memories,

So don’t, Say Goodbye!!!

And don’t forget me as a past.
